Economic and commercial missions of La Francophonie

As part of its 2024-2027 strategic program, the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie is developing the "Promotion des échanges économiques et commerciaux francophones" project. This project aims both to strengthen the economic diplomacy of French-speaking states and governments, and to increase economic and commercial exchanges between French-speaking companies.

Within this framework, the OIF organizes economic and trade missions, aimed at economic operators, mainly companies with international development prospects and capacities, but also at support structures, project promoters, etc.

This program is being actively pursued following successful missions to Southeast Asia (Vietnam and Cambodia), Central Africa (Gabon and Rwanda) and the Middle East (Lebanon), which generated over 2,000 business meetings and dozens of partnerships and trade activations.

Each mission is organized jointly with the authorities of the host country. It enables participants from the 88 countries of the French-speaking family to gain access to local market knowledge, leverage existing networks, share resources and expertise, and forge valuable business links with local economic operators brought together for the occasion.
