Dubai Room "The Role of La Francophonie in Promoting International Cooperation and Economic Development in Lebanon and the Middle East and North Africa Region" La Francophonie, of which Lebanon and some countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) are members, promotes intergovernmental cooperation, cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue, and the development of economic exchanges among its 88 member states and governments, similar to the economic and commercial missions of La Francophonie. Many initiatives are implemented to facilitate the sharing of values and encourage the use of the French language, a cornerstone of Francophone cooperation. This conference is an opportunity to discuss the achievements of La Francophonie in Lebanon and the Middle East and North Africa region, what should be strengthened, and possible innovations in cooperation, including with other Francophone regions, for a greater impact on the economic front, the development of exchanges, and the influence of Francophone countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
